At Joy, we're here to support mothers through every stage of the postnatal journey — from your first session back to building lasting strength.

Pre-crawling babies are always welcome in class with you, with bouncers and bumbos on hand so they can settle while you train; once your baby starts crawling, they'll need to be booked into the crèche instead. Older children are also welcome to come along and occupy themselves in the studio — handy during school holidays. Whenever your child is with you in class rather than in the crèche, they remain your responsibility, so you're free to train and our coaches are free to coach.

Strong Mums: postnatal strength training.

Rebuild your strength, confidence and energy after having a baby, with expert coaching in an environment built for this stage of life. Nannies are available during sessions, your baby is welcome close by, and feeding, changing and settling are always fine — you don't have to choose between looking after yourself and your baby.

Our weekly Strong Mums classes are flexible, supportive, and designed to help you ease back into strength training at your own pace, with no pressure to commit to a full programme.

Crèche.

Our on-site crèche runs alongside selected classes, giving you the space to train knowing your little one is looked after just a few steps away, cared for by experienced, DBS-checked nannies in a calm, welcoming space.

  • Suitable for babies and young children under five

  • Small sessions with a 1:3 ratio, so every child gets attention

  • You remain on-site throughout your session

  • Runs Wednesday and Friday mornings, with more sessions added as demand grows

Bring anything that helps your child settle — a favourite toy, comforter, bottle or milk (no snacks containing allergens, please). Arrive a few minutes early to help them settle before your class begins. Our nannies aren't able to change nappies (you'll be called if needed), and we ask that unwell children stay home.

Because looking after yourself isn't a luxury — it's essential.

You can book the crèche in a way that works for you — it’s £10 per session for ad-hoc bookings, or save with packs of 5 or 10.
