Meet the Founder.

Hi, I’m Jen — the founder of Joy.

For years, exercise felt tied to one goal: being thinner. After becoming a mum, I made a conscious decision to change that. Instead of punishing my body, I wanted to support it — to feel strong, capable and healthy, and to build something that would last.

That shift led me to retrain as a Personal Trainer and specialise in women’s strength training. Over the years, I’ve worked with women at all stages of life, helping them build not just strength, but confidence, resilience and a more positive relationship with their bodies.

I created Joy to offer that same experience — a welcoming, supportive space where women can focus on progress over perfection, and feel confident in what their bodies can do.

For me, joy comes from getting stronger — and from the connection and community that comes from training alongside other women.
