Strength training for women — built for life.
At Joy, we believe strength is about more than how you look — it’s about how you move, feel and live, now and for years to come.
Strength training is one of the most powerful tools we have to future-proof our bodies, build resilience and feel capable in everyday life.
What We Do.
Our core offering is Small Group Personal Training.
Every session is coach-led and programme-driven, combining the attention of 1-to-1 training with the energy and accountability of training alongside others.
We use progressive strength programmes designed to help you build real, lasting strength — safely, effectively and at your own pace.
Who It’s For.
Joy is for women at every stage of their lifting journey.
Whether you’re completely new to strength training or an experienced lifter looking for structure, progression and community, you’ll be supported and challenged in equal measure.
We meet you where you are, and help you move forward with confidence.
Community is at the heart of Joy.
You’ll train alongside like-minded women in an encouraging, supportive environment where lifting feels empowering, not intimidating.
Together, we celebrate:
progress over perfection
consistency over quick fixes
and the joy that comes from getting stronger — inside and out
Meet Jen, Founder of Joy.
Like many women, I spent years believing exercise was about becoming smaller. After becoming a mum, I chose a different path. I discovered strength training and realised that exercise could be about building a body that felt strong, capable and healthy—not punishing it.
That journey inspired me to retrain as a Personal Trainer and create Joy: a welcoming, supportive community where women of all ages can build strength, confidence and friendships, without intimidation or pressure.
